Summary
The CDS Photoprobe is a unique device that uses high power xenon lamp to irradiate sample in the Drop In Sample Chamber (DISC) to introduce environmental degradation with the combination of programmable temperature and user-select reactant gas. The intensity of the UV light is 100 times stronger than any competitor’s product, which shortens the testing time from hours to minutes.
Product Features
High Power Xenon Lamp
A high power Xenon lamp provides an intense point source and high brightness with only 1 minute stabilization time and over 1000 hours lamp life time.
Free Space Focusing
The light from the light source is focused on the sample through a series of condenser lens without using any optical fiber, which dramatically improves the max light density.
260 nm - 400 nm Wavelength
A series of optical filters are used to block light with wavelength above 400 nm to prevent sample heating from absorbing IR light.
Easy Installation
The Photoprobe is designed to be mounted inside the 6000 Autosampler module. The installation takes minutes to complete.
UV Light Safety
Due to the levels of UV radiation from the Photoprobe, ensure necessary safety equipment such as UV protective eyewear and sufficient vent in the lab for UV generated ozone.
Software Compatible
The 6000 series software has embeded the Photoprobe control option in the autosmapler module.
